Timing Is Everything

I am a young mom. I became a mother at 18. But I'd like to clear some things up, because you and I are not just a statistic.

This opportunity surprised me, yes. But what some people might not understand it that I chose this. I chose to bring you into this world and spend the rest of my life with you. I do not want you to believe that because I am young, and because you were not planned, that you were not wanted. From the minute I knew I had created you, you were loved. Deeply, loved. I wouldn't trade this for anything.

I feel lucky that you came into my life when you did. To me, there are wayyyy more benefits of being a young mother.
1.) I get to be with you longer. We have more time to live, to play, and to love eachother.
2). We are closer in age, therefore you don't have to worry about me leaving you too soon.
3). I have more energy! Yes, you will often drain me... but I am always ready to play.

Obviously you really wanted to be born.
You chose this time to come.
You chose me.
And for that, I am very grateful <3
