October, Octobre, Octobris.

A lot has been changing in our lives, Quinn, so I thought I would take some time to update on our lives recently.
Our environment has flipped completely 180° in the past month. A new house, a new car, (soon to be!) new carpet, new and different....everything. But as you grow you will learn that often times change is a good thing. It symbolizes throwing away the old and the bad and looking forward towards a bright, exciting future.

Developmentally, you are ever-changing (as usual). From almost sitting up on your own to learning more and more about self-soothing and entertaining yourself... you never seize to amaze me.
You are talking now, more than ever, and you are now a master at understanding pitches! You always try to mock my voice with your cooing and you know exactly what you are doing. You, my dear, are a very very smart child.
I'm excited to see you learn and grow.
In case you were wondering, you are still the happiest baby I've ever seen. There is barely a moment when you aren't smiling or laughing! I always wonder how your cheeks don't hurt at the end of the day :)

On the topic of growing, you now weight 13lbs 6.4 oz as of October 12th! Always growing, always growing.
Also, last night you had your baby cereal for the first time! I was a little worried at first that you wouldn't like being spoon-fed, seeing as you absolutely hate bottles, but you loved it! Spooning the food in your mouth yourself, you seemed to really enjoyed eating :)

Our life together may be a little crazy, especially recently, but I wouldn't change a single thing.
We are both very happy, and hey... at least there is never a dull moment <3
